Title: Modeling and synthesis of quantum circuits
Abstract: Quantum algorithms are implemented by universal, gate-based, quantum circuits. The gating factor in the design of quantum circuits is the expert labor required to produce it.
In my talk, I will present a novel approach to designing quantum circuits. A high-level description of the circuit translates into constraints on the circuit model, which can then be solved to output a concrete circuit instance.
I will demonstrate how this radically different approach enables new levels of flexibility and creativity in the creation of quantum algorithms.
