Title:
"Multiqubit dissipative simulations and experiments with IBM Quantum devices"
Abstract:
I will present a brief overview of the IBM Quantum roadmap. A central part in this roadmap is devoted to the cloud-based access offered to IBM's quantum hardware, and I will introduce the technology of the deployed devices. I will describe some recently introduced open-source tools for the classical simulation of open many-body quantum systems, using which the dissipative dynamics of up to tens of interacting qubits can be solved.
I will discuss the results of experiments on superconducting qubit dynamics compared directly with simulations that account for charge-parity oscillations, crosstalk (“ZZ” coupling), temperature, decoherence, and SPAM errors.
